From pop stars to politicians, artists and activists, every week Bimini will be unearthing the moments that have shaped their guests’ identities, whilst exploring how the world today is impacting the people we are becoming. New episodes every Tuesday.

Glyn Fussell is one of the most important names behind not just the UK’s thriving nightlife (he was named the King of the Club Scene after all), but the country’s queer scene as well.

As the co-founder of the iconic Sink The Pink, the largest LGBTQ+ collective in the UK (and from where Bimini’s stage act was born) and now the co-founder and director of Mighty Hoopla, the most inclusive pop festival in the country, Glyn Fussell has dedicated his life’s work to celebrating queer culture and championing our diversity – making sure that everyone has a place to fit in.

But Glyn wasn’t born remotely near the scene he came to establish – he was a shy, imaginative child from a working-class family. He could have only dreamt to have the formative role in the shaping of queer culture that he has.

In this episode of The Pieces, Bimini and Glyn talk about the pivotal moments in school that shaped Glyn, the birth of Sink The Pink, the power of community, embracing creative chaos and the celebrities that have flocked to Mighty Hoopla.
