New allegations against pop star Michael Jackson have surfaced in the form of blockbuster documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’.

The documentary has new allegations of sexual assault on minors exclusively from two men: Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who are both now in their 30s. They make separate claims that the star molested them hundreds of times when they were children in the 1990s.

Jackson’s family and estate have rigorously denied any wrongdoing by the star. In fact, they are suing HBO for $100 million, asserting that the film – which was broadcasted by Channel 4 in the UK – is an example of unvetted propaganda, public lynching and trial by media.

For decades, when people made assertions that Michael Jackson was a predatory paedophile, his stardom miraculously survived. But although similar abuse allegations have followed him for years, the damning, disturbing and explicit accusations in ‘Leaving Neverland’ have left many rethinking their feelings about the late King of Pop.

Discussing the documentary on Benji Hyer’s radio show, listener Callum told Benji that, even in light of the documentary, it is still not immoral to listen to Michael Jackson’s music. However, he says it is wrong to listen to R Kelly, who faces his own sexual abuse indictments.
