We may have just had to say ‘Goodbye Summer’, but it was ‘Worth It’ so that we could have Danielle Bradbery as our very first Rising Country artist this October!


At 22-years-old, Danielle Bradbery has already made huge strides in music. Danielle got her start in 2013, at the age of 16, when she became the youngest artist to ever have won the US version of The Voice, with Blake Shelton as her mentor. This was an amazing feat – especially for an artist who has never had any formal vocal training before. She was signed to Big Machine Label Group straight way after her win, and she released her eponymous debut studio album in November of the same year featuring her first single, ‘The Heart of Dixie’.

Since then, the Texas-native has opened for some big country names, such as Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge, Miranda Lambert, and Brad Paisley. She released her sophomore album, ‘I Don’t Believe We’ve Met’ in December of 2017 which has spawned singles including ‘Sway’ and ‘Worth It’.


This August she released our favourite song of the summer, ‘Goodbye Summer’ with her friend Thomas Rhett.

Even though Danielle has had so much success at a young age, she still says that she’s just another normal 22-year-old (she admitted that she was indeed “feeling 22”) who likes to hang out with her friends, go on Instagram and fangirl about Harry Potter.

Madeleine Molly interviewed Danielle Bradbery for her country show and they talked Harry Potter, puppies, the supportive nature of country, and how we can make the genre more inclusive.
