On Friday, 17th April 2020, we invited some of our favourite emerging artists from around the world to come on-air, sing a bit, chat a bit to help lift the blues we’re all feeling right now. It was: LIVE FROM HOME.

The self-isolation period has meant that there’s plenty of time for discovering new music – and Eyelar is one of our Coronavirus discoveries.

Having featured on some huge songs (including Disciples’ single “All Mine” and Yxng Bane’s single “Breakfast”) it’s on her solo original music – including “Daddy’s Girl” and “Couple Hours” where her truth really shines through. Singing heart-breaking lyrics about her family life, she’s been touching the hearts of thousands of fans.

Eyelar called into LIVE FROM HOME to talk about breaking through with Yxng Bane, the inspiration behind her music and making “creepy” music.
