What can we say about Loren Gray that you don’t already know?

The most promising candidate to be the next genuine, Britney and Ariana level, “pop princess”; Loren Gray had an army of fans before she had even released her 2018 debut single “My Story”. And when we say army, we mean it – of her nearly 20M Instagram followers, the majority have been with her long before 2018.

Having first found her fame on TikTok before it was TikTok (yes, Musical.ly friends!), Loren’s followers gravitated to her for her honestly – whilst a lot of her posts show off a fun and free life, chilling out with friends, she also isn’t afraid to talk about her years of being bullied and tormented and the realities of life as an American teen.

Nowadays, although she still posts regularly on TikTok, there are many more strings to her bow – including being an ambassador for Forever 21 and, obviously, music!

With her single “Queen” having over 26M streams on Spotify alone, and her Lost Kings collaboration “Anti-Everything” nearing 50M streams… you understand why we think she has a genuine shot at being the next certified and crowned pop princess.

Using lockdown to her advantage, most recently Loren released single “Cake” – a bop which literally tells us all to: EAT THE WHOLE DAMN THING.

Loren Gray sat down with James Gilmore on Zoom to talk about single release days, friends, filming a music video in lockdown and much more.
