Riscas

An indie rock band with a tropical twang. That's Riscas.

With their latest single "Next Love" doing bits on streaming services, they have signed to iconic indie label LAB Records and joined a stable of artists including Abbie Ozard, The Marsicans and Vistas in the process. The label signing is indicative of an exciting future for the band (and the boost they had hoped for)... even if they weren't allowed to do the classic handshake and celebration in London.

With a newly found 100K Monthly Listeners on Spotify - and with their biggest single "Panic Like Tom" surpassing 5M streams on the platform - Rhiannon Nevada sat down with the band and found out some interesting anecdotes...

For example, George (lead singer) has a passion for pottery and sketching (he literally daws people in the nude in his converted back room). And Ephraim (lead guitar) loves nothing more than laying back and doing some fishing.

Back to music - if you haven't heard of Riscas before, today is the day.
