On Friday, 27th March 2020, we invited some of our favourite emerging artists from around the world to come on-air, sing a bit, chat a bit to help lift the blues we’re all feeling right now. It was: LIVE FROM HOME.
We’ve been obsessed with Ronnie Watts’ music ever since her single “Famous In California” came out at the start of February 2020. The piano ballad, inspired by a time when all of her friends were at college and she was left at home, has captured an army of fans who relate to her style of angsty pop.
Rising from Rochester, New York, Ronnie has spent most of her youth honing her song-writing ability, building a recording studio on her basement and journaling her heartbreak through the lens of pop music.
And… there is more on the way! Although she wouldn’t reveal the date (we had to accept “soon”), when she called into LIVE FROM HOME from Rochester, she gave us a sample of her next single. Listen to the full interview below.
