With a career spanning way over a decade, the Ghanaian rapper has won almost every accolade he’s been nominated for and has managed to take Afro-Rap global, with features such as Giggs, Black Sherif, Oxlade, Mr Eazi & Idris Elba all in his repertoire.
Fresh off the release of his 2022 album "Jamz", Sarkodie has kicked off 2023 with a spiritual statement of a record having been featured on the posthumous release of "Stir It Up" by reggae legend Bob Marley & The Wailers.
With the release of "Stir It Up", Sarkodie sat down with Myles McCaulskey sat down to speak about why he almost passed on the collaboration, working with Ghanaian artists such as Black Sherif and how he still inspires himself to continue making music.
