Manchester and the area code 0161 have been in the fabric of British music for some years now. With Bugzy Malone back in 2015 relentlessly using the term “0161 Manny on the Map”, it’s safe to say that you couldn’t get away from the reference if you were following UK Music.

Just like Bugzy Malone, Manchester has provided us with some stellar talent in the last couple of years with acts such as Aitch and Geko bursting onto the scene. Now it’s time for Tyreezy to do the same thing.

Tyreezy is different. He’s fresh and so far he’s creating feel good R&B which will definitely make an impact this summer.

The Manchester native sat down with Myles McCaulskey to talk about his come up, working with 23 Unofficial, the music scene in Manchester and his personal goals for the rest of the year.
