Rhiannon Nevada's New Wave Sounds / W!ZARD Radio Station

This is New Wave Sounds with Rhiannon Nevada. Every Monday, W!ZARD Radio Station's resident alt/indie expert Rhiannon Nevada drops three upcoming artists she thinks you should be keeping your eyes on. Here's what she thinks you should be listening to this week...

joey maxwell

Rhiannon: If you like Easy Life or Master Peace, you'll like joey maxwell. His latest is a bop you have got to listen to. He recently snatched a deal with Polydor Records, making some of the biggest artists in the world his label mates, such as Billie Eilish. He's definitely one to look out for!

Daniel Briskin

Rhiannon: I discovered Daniel Briskin on TikTok; he has such a unique voice and is releasing some great material. He started playing the piano aged eight, so it's not surprising to see his talent bloom now. What I admire most about Daniel is that he has full creative control over his music and image - so he has come up with his own style, which he has taken inspiration for from Frank Ocean and James Blake.

Blayne B.

Rhiannon: Blayne B. is a very exciting pop-punk artist who also delves a little bit into indie/dream pop occasionally too. He's been played a couple of times on my radio show, and he is a part of the "Cozy Collective", a group of friends who have made some incredible lo-fi chilled tunes together.
